Harvest freshness - for the best quality & the unique Yuu’n Mee taste:

  • Each Yuu’n Mee shrimp harvest is fully brought in, placed on ice immediately at the harvesting pond and transported to the production site at approx. 0º C for further processing.
  • After further steps in processing (such as peeling or blanching), the shrimps are shock-frozen at max -60ºC and then stored at around -18ºC.
  • This stops any microbiologically-induced changes - and preserves the nutrients.
