Anleitungen
  1. Den Pita-Fladen solltet ihr schon 2 Stunden vorher ansetzen. Für den Teig das Mehl mit Zucker und Salz vermengen. Den Germ in einer kleinen Tasse mit warmem Wasser auflösen, anschließend unter das Mehl heben. Nun solange schrittweise etwas warmes Wasser dazugeben und gut kneten, bis ein homogener Teig entsteht. Mit einem Küchentuch abdecken und 1 1/2 Stunden ruhen lassen. Anschließend den Teig in 4 Portionen teilen. Jeweils eine Kugel daraus machen, auf eine bemehlte Arbeitsfläche geben und mit einem Nudelholz zu einer ca. 1 cm dicken Scheibe ausrollen. Wiederum mit einem Küchenhandtuch bedecken und 30 Minuten ruhen lassen.
  2. Nun entweder mit einem Tisch-Grill (maximale Stufe, ca. 6 Minuten) oder im Backofen (210°C, ca, 14 Minuten) die Pita-Fladen backen. Durch den Germ gehen diese etwas auf und können anschließend mit einem Messer halbiert werden. Aber Vorsicht: Nur zu 3/4 seitlich einschneiden, den hinteren Teil geschlossen lassen.
  3. Für unsere Fülle die Garnelen langsam auftauen und entweder in einer Pfanne oder auf einem Grillrost mit etwas Sonnenblumenöl kross braten. Wir haben hier seit kurzem eine separate Grillplatte für unsere neue Induktionskochplatte – kann man nur wärmstens empfehlen. Den Sauerrahm mit dem Limettensaft mischen, die Avocado halbieren, entkernen und in dünne Streifen schneiden.
  4. Für unsere Chili-Marillen das Obst waschen, entkernen und in dünne Schnitze schneiden. Diese mit etwas Olivenöl in der Pfanne anbraten, anschließend die Hitze reduzieren und die fein gehackte Chilischote, Oregano und Thymian dazu geben. Den Zucker unterheben und weitere 5 Minuten köcheln lassen.
  5. Befüllt wird unser Homemade Pita wie folgt: Auf die Unterseite Sauerrahm-Limetten-Sauce, Avocadostücke drauf, Garnelen drauf, 1 1/2 Löffel Chili-Marillen drauf, Salat dazu, zuklappen, fertig!
